#Diabetic-Talk Channel RulesThis chatroom exists for the discussion of diabetes. While it is common for other discussions to take place, diabetes discussions will always take priority. Behavior of participants is important to us. We want to create an atmosphere that is informative, comfortable, and fun. Therefore, we ask that behavior of participants be similar to that exhibited in polite society. That means:
#Diabetic-Talk Channel AdministrationThe names preceded with an @ are channel operators. They are the founders of the chatroom, or those chosen by the founders to moderate and control the channel. They are also available to help with IRC questions. For those who cannot play nicely with others, they have the power to kick or ban those who are disruptive to the smooth operation of #Diabetic-Talk. This authority is not used arbitrarily. #Diabetic-Talk is not a democracy. There is no constitutional right to free speech here. The decision of the administration is final. Those who are permanently banned have arrived at that status only after a meeting of the channel administrators to discuss the situation. Questions or appeals of any actions taken with regard to the administration of the chatroom should be addressed to manager@diabetic-talk.org . Please report problems, harassment or unwelcome PMs to any channel operator. Live long, play nice, respect others, have fun. |
